European Honda CR-Z
The world debut of Geneva's International Motor Show showed off the new European version of the Honda CR-Z hybrid coupe. It's the first car to include a hybrid system with a 6-speed manual gearbox. It's excellent for the fuel economy and has all the comfortability one needs. It's perfect for those days of getting stuck in horrible traffic and the best economic performance. Go check it out even if you're not looking for a new car.

America, You're Losing.
Europe has developed a strategy to stay clean with the environment by using solar panels to save energy. The U.S. has not taken any measure to sharing these policies. We are taking a backseat to China & Europe. We need to build & manufacture solar panels which has been stated that it would cost far less to do so in the United States. Keep Your Eyes on the Road or Else!
I remember watching Jurassic Park as a child and being amazed at the cars who drove by itself as they rode to their destination. Believe it or not, the cars on Jurassic Park are now in Berlin, Germany! It allows you to steer only using your EYES by tracking your eye movement and steering the car in that direction! I can just see me now, probably crashing into the store that had the cute furniture that caught my eye, and apparently the steering wheel. In my opinion, wouldn't the whole point of not having to use your hands to drive is so you could chat and look at the people your talking to instead of driving? I'd have to be more focused using my eyes than I would hands by making a conscious effort to not get distracted. If we are that lazy that we can't use our hands to steer, we're in trouble.

Where am I? You'll always know.
If you have an iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, or Palm Foursquare is for you. If you don’t know where you should go for dinner Foursquare is definitely for you. It’s an app on your cellular device for helping you find ways to explore the city. You can meet up with your friends, stalk your latest crush, and even earn points for discovering new places and checking in. If you don’t have the four suggested, you can text message 50500 (like this: @Crepe Cellar enjoying a burger).
It’s another way to tell people where you are and what places you love. It has a list of places around where you are so if you don’t know where to go, just go on Foursquare and it will tell you. Rumor has it that Starbucks has just linked up with Foursquare and many places will follow there lead. You can even unlock a tip on the hottest menu item and start earning points or become the mayor if you are a creature of habit and hit up the same spot enough. “It may sound a little silly until you see the list of places that are offering freebies to our mayor-free coffees, ice cream, hotel stays-it pays to be a foursquare loyalist and check-in whenever you go!

Love Tech goes Long Distance

One of the reasons I love the movie Pearl Harbor is because it takes you back to before technology ruled their lives. I loved watching them write letters back in forth when he went off to war. But now of days, e-mail is great and will work for most couples who may be on a tight schedule and can’t talk on the phone or if it’s too expensive. But the new way to keep in love with your long distance man or woman is to use the best technology. Skype is the newest way to connect with your significant other through video. A webcam was something we dreamed about as a child. No one imagined talking on the phone and seeing one another. But the time has come and you can sign up on Skype.com right now to talk to anyone anywhere instead of breaking your man’s heart because he moved miles away.

10 Relationship & Technology Do's and Dont's

I found this very humorous article on the 20 Relationship & Technology Do’s & Don’ts so I decided to pick my favorite 10 and share them with you.

1. DO share the joke with your spouse if you laugh out loud at something on your phone.

2. DON'T exchange email passwords with your partner no matter how good of an idea it seems.

3. DON'T hack into your partner's email or phone, read the messages, assume they are cheating on you, freak out and post your suspicions on a social network or a web site.

4. DO save cute texts, email and voicemails.

5. DO set a time limit for Internet surfing while you're hanging out together.

6. DON'T email or browse the net while talking to or on the phone with the other person. You may think you're a multi-tasking queen (or king), but it's distracting for both of you and it makes it seem like you only half-care about what he's talking about.

7. DO refrain from using emoticons and/or tech lingo (eg. LOL, ROTFL), if it annoys your partner.

8. DO put away your Blackberry or phone on important occasions—like when you have a rare date night without the kids—and ask your partner to do the same.

9. DO keep tech snobbery to a minimum: "Fine, I'll do it, that brick of yours doesn't even have a video camera."

10. DO use texting at parties to let your partner that you want to go. The point is to make your relationship more important than the technology. Let technology bring you together and not tear you apart. More on that later this week!

Get caught RED handed

So this week it's all about going red so why not get caught RED handed with a kindle? Today's economy is all about "going green" which really just means saving the environment by going electronic. Save the trees and quit wasting paper! Less ink, more typing. It's a digital world. Get with the times! "So what's this new kindle thing anyway?" you ask. Well I am here to tell you just that my friends. The Kindle is a wireless reading device. It displays 6 inches of global wireless books at the touch of button. It provides a way to display e-books electronically and other digital media. Amazon, the website where one can purchase books and media created the Kindle and its latest competitor the iPad just might have beat it out of the water. Why pay for a Kindle when you can get the iPad with cool apps and see videos? Don't ask me, I am not here to tell you that friends. But the point is, to do this world a favor and go buy a kindle. If you ask me, I would say they should invent a highlighter option for us tactile men and women (I'm going to guess just women). They even made a Kindle app to where you can get it on your Windows, Mac, iPhone, or Blackberry! So before you order another book, check out the Kindle first.
GOING (RED)

Well you all have heard that going green is the new thing and better to do but what’s going red all about? Going green was trying to save the earth and going green is about saving lives. “How so?” you ask. Specifically with Starbucks, they strive to be responsible by going red, which they call “Starbucks Shared Planet”. (RED) helps save lives in Africa’s health and prosperity. So by purchasing a (RED) product at Starbucks otherwise known as (STARBUCKS) RED you can do good and support communities in Africa. You can even purchase a (STARBUCKS) RED card that makes a contribution to the Global Fund to help people living with HIV in Africa. Starbucks consumers have already helped get 14,000,000 days of medicine. Check out this amazing video for those of you who hate reading and love to watch.

MEET THE TECHNOLOGY EDITOR
Welcome to the Technology section of this amazing blog for the new and hottest upcoming magazine, Undertone. My name is Bethany Boone and I will be giving you the latest skinny on the newest technology with steps to help you process how to work it for all of you who aren’t tech wizards. This magazine are for you who like me, love the latest music, want the Ipad, and update your Twitter account a little too often. There will be tutorials showing you how to work certain items. There will be previews of new technology. I will make sure to heavily involve my opinion on what is in and out in the world of technology because some things just have to go (cough, Dell computers, cough). You are probably trying to read this article, while surfing the web, listening to Pandora, all on your Iphone, Blackberry, or Mac. If you’re obsessed with Apple products like me, you can be sure to find the latest on what’s coming up with them as well as other things such as Four Square and networking sites. I have a passion for photography as you can see on http://www.bethanyboone.com/ and being able to stay up with the latest technology in that is so important. Usually the better the product, the more it costs. But just because you have a good camera does not mean you are a good photographer. It’s all about tying in your creative knot to what you love to do and what you love to enjoy. You never know where this road will lead or what this blog will tell and that’s what makes it fun to follow. Be sure to become a fan of Undertone on Facebook and invite your friends to read along. It’s going to be a fun 8 weeks! See you soon.
