CLOCKWORK ORANGE
Clockwork Orange has to be one of the craziest movies I have ever seen and I have seen a many of movies. The movie is about the adventures of a young man whose interest are rape, ultra-violence, and Beethoven. Watching this movie made me think a lot about karma and in this particular movie, it plays out in a twisted way.

ITALY IS BEAUTIFUL
Life is Beautiful, is a wonderful movie based in the 1930’s Italy, a carefree Jewish bookkeeper named Guido begins this fairy tale life by courting and marrying a lovely woman from a nearby city. Later Germans come in and take him and their family, and in an attempt to hold his family together and make sure that his son survives, his makes the Holocaust out to be a game and the grand prize is a tank.
This movie based in Italy in the 1930s is a wonderful love story and compassionate family story. Guido is this wonderful person and looks after his family and gives me hope that people can still have faith in their families and marriage. It gives me faith in men that not all men are bad and some are the sweetest and most caring people in the world. They’re just hard to find sometimes, but sometimes they find you, and sometimes you just fall into their lap.

Dark Knight Status
The Status on The Dark Knight still remains at number 5. In front of it is Avatar at number 1, Titanic at number 2, The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King at number 3, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest at number 4. The Dark Knight to me was an excellent movie and one of the best Batman movies I have ever seen. I believe Heath Ledger was a big part of the reason for the success of the film. He did a fantastic job as the character of the Joker and his co-star, Christian Bale didn't do as well as he did in Batman Begins. But because of Heath Ledger’s success and doing so well playing that role, it got him an Academy Award, and he is truly missed as he was a great actor whom many loved. Love you Heath Ledger.

     Avatar Status

If you have not yet seen Avatar, you must. Jake Sulley is a character who is a paraplegic former Marine and has to replace his twin brother for an avatar assignment. He is on an average social status amoung the humans, but around the Avatars he is an equal after being around them and studying them after a while. All the Avatars accept him except for Neytiri (a female who rescues Jake from predators in the forest), Neytiri's mother (Mo'at the clan's spiritual leader), and Neytiri's father (the clan chief Eytukan). Neytiri, Mo’at, and Eytukan are head of the clan. Mo’at and Eytukan are represented as a king and queen of the clan and Neytiri is represented as a princess. I am not trying to give too much away, so I’m going to let you check it out for yourself.http://boxofficemojo.com/alltime/world/

Brown Sugar Relationship Satisfaction

Brown Sugar has to be one of my favorite love stories of all time. Imagine growing up with your best friend, then finding out that they are "the one". Sending the “Do you like me? Check: yes, no, or maybe" notes to each other is too cute. This movie is really sweet and gets into the depth of how friendships can lead into something that was there the whole time. This love story is about two friends who grew up loving hip-hop and both later working in the hip-hop industry. They both date around but realize that they are missing something. Later figuring out that what they’ve been missing the whole time was each other.

Passionate Relationships for The Phantom of the Opera

One of the most famous musicals of all time is The Phantom of the Opera. It is an amazing story of a genius whose beautiful music fills the Opera Populaire of 1870 Paris, however a solitary soul is hiding his disfigurement behind a mask and dwells in the catacombs below. But after a while he can no longer hide his love for the young soprano Christine.
I am infatuated with this movie and love the story behind it all. This story brings together two characters who haven’t seen each other since they were young. When they're older and see each other once again, they being to fall in love. When the Phantom realizes what’s going on, his jealousy shows and he begins to start terrorizing The Opera Populaire. Although the Phantom hides his face from everyone and Christine, she loves him for who he is and once he realizes it, he lets her go and he disappears
This movie says a lot about relationships in general, such as loving the person for what they are on the inside and out. I think that says a lot in this movie, which is another reason, why I love this movie so much. Especially because Gerard Butler actually plays the Phantom and has a BEAUTIFUL VOICE, absolutely amazing when you first hear it. Another thing about relationships in this movie is the one Christine and her lover Raoul have for each other. Their love is a beautiful thing and no matter what happens they would do anything for each other and do anything to save each other’s life. When you first see this you’ll see what true love could really mean and the things people would do for the one’s they love. If you are a helpless romantic like myself, you will love this movie about love, passion, music, and suspense.

Hannibal's Red Dragon
Red Dragon is based off a novel by Thomas Harris. It starts with a FBI agent named Will Graham who has been called out of early retirement to catch a serial killer, known by authorities as “The Tooth Fairy". He has to go to his arch-enemy Dr. Hannibal “The Cannibal” Lecter so that he can catch “The Tooth Fairy". There is a problem though; “The Tooth Fairy” is getting inside information about Graham and his family from Dr. Lecter. The Character known as Francis Dolarhyde is played by Ralph Feinnes, who is trying to become a living dragon, patterned after the watercolor painting by William Blake.
If you don’t know who Hannibal Lecter is, he is a phenomenal character. He is played by no other than Anthony Hopkins who kills a few people and is a genius. He has been in two other movies that you may know called Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, and Hannibal Rising. There is also another movie, which started it all in 1986 called Manhunter but had a different actor named Brian Cox playing Hannibal Lecter. That is where all the evil begins. This story falls somewhere in between Hannibal and The Silence of the Lambs.
Hannibal Lecter has to be one of my favorite bad guys of all time. He is very cool and calm, and doesn’t let anyone get the better of him. He is a mastermind genius and very cunning. I can remember first watching this character when I was younger and watching Anthony Hopkins plays him in Silence of the Lambs. He was so mysterious and always had this crazy smile that I absolutely love. He was so creepy and so much fun to watch, he always had this master plan and no one ever knows what he’s going to do next.

RED FETISH FOR SIN CITY

This movie has to be in my top 20 of favorite action movies of all time. As far as this movie's history goes, it came out in 2005. It is four stories inter-weaved telling tales of the corruption in Basin City where it all takes place. The four tales of crime came from Frank Miller’s famous comics. They were focused on a muscular man who’s looking for the person responsible for killing his precious Goldie, a man tired of Sin City’s corrupt cops who takes the law into his own hands after a really bad mistake. Finally a cop who risks his life to save a girl from a deformed pedophile, and a hit man looking for a little cash. Some of the actors in the movie were Jessica Alba, Alexis Bledel, Rosario Dawson, Benicio Del Toro, Bruce Willis (One of my FAVORITES), Josh Hartnett, Michael Clarke Duncan, Frank Miller, Brittany Murphy, Clive Own, and Elijah Wood.
Frank Miller his self is known for his comics and his use of colors in his comics. In Sin City, the movie for the majority it is in black and white, but when someone gets hit or someone is wearing red lipstick, you can see the red blood, a red dress, the red lipstick, and even see the yellow of one of the villains in the movie. I don’t want to give too much away for the people who haven’t seen it yet but it has to be one of the best action movies of all time. The color use was amazing and the way the movie captures expressions and I think everything was beautiful. If you love a good action movie the Red color use in the movie, made the movie so much better and seeing it in the title of the movie is very beautiful as well.

The Grudge: Japan
In Japan, Ju-on is known for a deadly curse that takes on a life of its own. It always seeks new victims. It is based off a grudge that cannot be stopped. The people who are unfortunate enough to meet up with a spirit or ghost get killed by the grudge and it just keeps spreading.
This particular story starts with a senior citizen volunteer worker that goes to work in a house in a quiet residential area; she eventually starts to hear weird and odd noises. After the strange events get more and more menacing, she starts to discover that some acts of violence can attach their selves to a house and that some evils can reach out and touch anyone even after they have died.
Ju-on was remade by America as known as "The Grudge". It is a much scarier movie then the Americanized version, as most Japan movies are. Ju-on is about The Saeki house in Japan that is haunted by the ghosts of Kayako and Toshio. Although many people may not agree with me that it is not that good of a horror film, I believe that it is much better then The Grudge.
If you have not yet check out this movie, you should definitely check out the original version Ju-on. Although it is all in Japanese, watching this grudge will help give you a different aspect of culture and understand the movie even more.
Different people have had their different opinions about the movie but I believe that everyone should at least check it out if you like a horror movie. It is a cultural and horror flick so make sure you check out the original when you get a chance. Check at your local blockbusters, they might just have it.

JAPAN'S GODZILLA MAKES A COMEBACK
Does anyone remember Godzilla? If not, he was a very famous reptile that was huge in Japan…literally. He was a big lizard that had atomic rays and super regenerative power, stomping on buildings and destroying everything in site. He was 50 meters in height and 20,000 tons in mass. His other appearances include Godzilla Raids Again, Varan, Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, Godzilla against Mechagodzilla, Godzilla:
Tokyo S.O.S. and Godzilla: Final Wars. Godzilla had a few good moments when he was fighting against other big bad guys. The very old character may make a comeback in 2012. This film was not said to be a sequel to the 1998 film with Matthew Broderick but an entirely new Godzilla.
Some of the creatures that Godzilla fought were bigger then him and I believe that if they do remake this movie that they should put some of his enemies in it as well. I think if people actually saw Godzilla fighting to see what he can do I think it would be for everyone in the audience. The Godzilla movies are already classics as far as I am concerned. But having a remake with Godzilla’s enemies and maybe even Godzilla’s baby in it too. Yes Godzilla did have a baby, that wasn’t that cute by the way.
They also had a film called Godzilla 2000 with some really good fighting scenes. This had to be the best Godzilla movie I’ve seen yet, the actors were amazing and Godzilla did a fantastic job as well.
This film was a very big name back in the day and the films first appearance was in 1954 and will probably make its comeback in 2012. Everyone should get ready for it. I really hope everyone will go check this movie out and enjoy it.

This section is for movie lovers everywhere who like to blog about their ideas about the movies and who’s, what’s, when’s, where’s, whys, and how’s of the movies.
My experience in this topic is what I know and what I love about movies. I love most movies and I love everything about them. It takes so much time and effort just to make a movie and get the right actors for the role, get the right light setting, get the right background, everything about it makes me smile and makes me want more and make me want to know more. Movies are visual and I am a visual person and I really enjoy the history of films and how they came about which is why I love watching really old black and white movies such as “The Kid” with Charlie Chaplin. The history about the first theaters is that were originally called Nickelodeons. Since then movies have come so far, and growing up watching old movies with my mom who loves movies like “Gone with the Wind” with Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh. Her favorite movies were usually ones with Cary Grant in it though like “To Catch a Thief” who also starred Princess Grace Kelly. My experience, knowledge, and love for movies made me want to be the section leader for this topic.
